Follow the instructions sent to your email. They will provide a timeline of tasks to complete leading up to on-campus International Student Orientation. Below are the first tasks that you can begin as soon as you receive confirmation from Oregon State University.

International Student Orientation (On-Campus)
Please visit the ONID website and click on “Sign up for ONID.” (https://onid.oregonstate.edu/) You will be prompted to enter your personal information. It will require your 9-digit student ID number, found on your Confirmation Letter. ex: 900-000-000
You will use your ONID username and password every day as an OSU student.
Access your OSU email account by logging into https://outlook.office.com/mail

password: created in step 1 ONID activation
Start using your OSU email every day. Staff and advisors will expect you to write emails through your OSU account.
It is also your log-in for many other OSU services like UHDS, wi-fi, printing, and more.
If you're interested in living in campus dormitories, please complete the Housing Preferences form as soon as possible. You will then receive instructions on how to create a UHDS.oregonstate.edu profile and complete a housing application.
OSU asks all new students to submit their childhood vaccination records. Your health information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone. If you have records of your childhood immunizations, you should submit copies of those records to OSU now. You may need to receive additional immunizations, as required by OSU.

For all undergraduate students, please provide the required documents during your first term at OSU.
Please see your confirmation letter for specific outstanding documents you need to bring with you. If you have any questions about why these documents are needed or what makes them official please contact intladmit@oregonstate.edu.
This math placement test can take 2 to 3 hours in total.
Submit your payment in full on INTOPAY. If you have questions about payment methods or totals, email intlfinance@oregonstate.edu or make an appointment.
You have two finance accounts: INTO OSU Finance and OSU Student Finance Account. Your tuition and housing will go to your INTO OSU account while your health insurance, incidental fees, and on-campus purchases will go on your OSU student account. Once you progress out of INTO OSU, all charges will go on your OSU account.
Log into canvas.oregonstate.edu with your ONID. Accept the Orientation course and read all information carefully. Canvas will be the full resource for your welcome week events and include instructions for start of term.
Email PASS@intoglobal.com for visa interview assistance. Once you have your visa, you'll want to book your airport shuttle and other steps before you depart your country.

You're invited to attend pre-arrival meetings regarding immunizations, holds, and coming to the US. We strive to register students during the early registration (held on-line) period, which happens in the months before the term begins. You are only eligible for early registration if you complete the previous steps. Check your email and canvas for event details.
All students are expected to attend these events the week before classes begin. There are required events with staff and advisors. There will also be fun, optional social events to help you learn about OSU and make connections with other students.
